Here's a backlog post of a wonderful lunch and arvo spent in Swan Valley with Jods earlier in summer. We used her entertainment book and checked out Stewart's winery.
Took me a little while to find even with my GPS, but all's great when I got there to a charming little nook.
abit of a drive in off the Great Northern Highway so look out!
Picturesque
It was quiet when we were there but had a bit more people towards the end of our lunch. Guess we were earlybirds!
Entree to share, pork belly and scallops and black pudding. The crackling crackles as it should, the scallops were seared perfectly. Flavours marry well.
Jods had the Duck Confit which was quite good from the taste I had. Still tender and flavourful.
I had the Salmon which was cooked to perfection with crispy skin and soft pink flesh. The light flavours also work well for that hot summer day. Really liked it.
Service was quite attentive and the place had a nice cozy atmosphere. Great for a date or leisurely girlfriend catchups ;)
