Mayy's Closet #91

Not so sure what the weather would be like when I return but my last day in Singapore is pretty good weatherwise - dewy, windy and none of the batshit crazy humidity and sun. If only Singapore is like that every day. Sighs.

Anyhow! Here's a closet post for a spring time outfit. To keep me slightly warm in the early morning and night, yet cool when I venture out for lunch with abit of the sunshine during the day.

The mint blue lace sleeve top is from Dotti, and I even paid full price for it because well, I really liked the colour! I dont wear it often enough regrettably. But I really liked it with white pants or like here, a white skirt.

I am selling the white highwaisted skirt because I really only wore it once for this photo/day. I bought it because of its stretch back so its comfortable and not cutting off any blood circulation or breathing. The side pockets make the skirt very practical too. Can't quite remember where I got it. Macau? ShenZhen? Bangkok?

I could have gone with a pair of sweet flats/pumps but I chose my Rubi boots to toughen up the girly colour combinations. And a little block heel never hurt anyone.

Gold accessories to bring our the gold button details on the skirt and an armful of bracelets, wood, white and blue. How else would you have paired this top/skirt combination?

Mayy's Closet #77

This closet post brings the closet segment to the same level as food finds! Thankfully, I can say my shoestoppers havent reached that. Because if it did, we would have a slight issue on our hands... or rather, I would have a slight issue. With my conscience (I sometimes pretend to be guilty but truthfully I love my shoes), and my parentals.

Anyhow, this outfit was worn during a week where I wore my whites. Yesyes, my ocd with laundry issues surfaces.

Nothing too girly since I wore combat booties heels. But perfect for the start of spring! I got the pink floral printed top from Cotton On last year in Singapore and never got round to wearing it until recently. The white cutout trimmed skirt has been worn once before and only my second time wearing it. I love it! I got it from City Beach and the brand is Moolala.

The exposure is pretty bad in this photo so the next photo will bring us closer to their true colours.

No surprises for guessing why I got the top because I love the cut-out back detail. But really, I like the tiny floral prints because big prints can be SO overwhelming on a shorter girl (I dont dare claim I'm petite or small!) And the white skirt, well, the trimmed hemline is surely quite interesting!

"Florals for spring, how groundbreaking..."
(Yes, Miranda I hear you.)

Till my next closet raid, Mayy xo
