SO TRUE! And I do own this in my collection. I havent got round to wearing it yet though. I like the heels image and the caption. I consider this a souvenir too because I bought it in Cebu, Philippines. And from one of my favourite childhood brands, Terranova.

Prints Ten

Remember the little tennis lovin' from the post titled Love-All? Well, here's another tennis related one! Another reason I loved tennis was the witty lines Nike came up with all the time for their tennis teeshirts. All the nice prints and words, even if the cut of the shirts are not for me. This is one of them...

Cupid!

And how true is that eh? ;)

Prints Nine

From a faint first rainbow very early in the morning on Sunday yesterday, I saw at least three more throughout my day out. It reminded me of such hopes and the beauty in nature. Most girls have this lovely fascination for rainbows. I guess, it is because of the colours and how pretty it makes everything else.

It stands to reason I would have some sort of rainbow prints in my closet. And I do. I bought this Ripcurl strappy tanktop when I was in secondary school and still have it to this day. It must have been at least seven years perhaps? I can't really remember where I got this but I have a strong feeling it is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's Time Square when it was all new and just opened to public. Ripcurl had a bright spanking new standalone shop so I had to get something to remember the occasion by.

The bright blue colour reminds me of the ocean, or the sky. While the rainbow colours are abit too solid and dark for my liking, it still stands out and bring a little smile to my face everytime I look at it. I haven't worn this very often... It is somewhere in my Singapore's closet but where?

Prints Eight

Mayy's Closet #36 featured the harem cargo pants and I wore a blue Roxy top in one of the photos. So here is the print on it. I have had this Roxy tee for nearly six years and I still love it! Am not leaving my collection just yet.

The powder baby blue complements its soft material of slight stretchy cotton kind. I also like that it has a small print of similar design on the side of its right sleeve. A pretty little heart in the middle of it all...

Prints Seven

On a dull grey rainy day like this Friday here in Perth, a little glitter should brighten things up abit!

Bought on a shopping walkabout out with Mum and sis a few years ago. I knew I had to have it when I laid eyes on it in Roxy, Marina Square. It was from the Roxy girls/teens section so the sizing were not the best.

Nevertheless, I overlooked all the minor details and focused on the prints. I really liked the pink and silver and white standing out on a milk chocolate brown base. Yummy! It was also of a thick cotton material, pretty good quality there. Quite unlike all the thin, slightly transclucent cotton ones Roxy are now prone to producing. So I thought it was worth to shell out my own card for it since Mum thought it was too expensive.

BUT THERE'S GLITTER, MA!

Prints Six

Before I go on with more closet posts (or maybe shoes, I haven't decided whether you are sick of my face yet), let's blog about my very first Anna Sui clothing item!

I bought this from Hong Kong's Anna Sui boutique. Took me a while to choose a tee print that I liked and looked good because I initally wanted a purple tee. I settled for this black one with no regrets. I love the doll dressed in such oldworld glamour dress. Really captured the essence of what Anna Sui is to me. Not too wacky stuff out there that they may be capable of. But enough of the old world.

Prints Five

I absolutely LOVE this Roxy print. The darker shade of pink with glitter and the lighter shade of pink contrasted against it. All on a white base. It is such a sweet girly colour!!! I always feel like such a girly girl whenever I put on this off-shoulder top.

Pink and glitter. What's not to squeal about?

Prints Four

I just received a letter from one of my girlfriends, Marsha in Melbourne. She enclosed a very early birthday gift for me, a pair of white stilettos earrings. I love it, it's so gorgeous. But being not a fan of ribbons, I removed that bits off. So anyway, it reminded me of this teeshirt from the brand Terranova. I found it in Cebu, Philippines and I was just ecstatic. The brand, I mean. Because I remembered when I was younger, Terranova was actually in Singapore too then they had a closing down sale. Gosh, I was so upset. I love this brand. Please, if anyone from the brand is reading this, hear my plea. Singapore missed you! Rethink your global strategy! Haha.

Anyway, back to the teeshirt, I liked the caption, so clever. I even tried it on, but I could not bring myself to like those ribbons. Wayy too cutesy for me. So I didn't buy it. I did buy another one...but we will blog about it soon. So ribbons on teeshirts yay or nay for you?

Prints Three

How old is this T-shirt print?! I can tell you, it is probably nearly 10 years ago. Back when Op was still pretty big for us and we go for their warehouse sales. I really liked this print because I thought the girl was really pretty and cute! She still is to me. Daddy bought it for me even though it was quite oversized for me. I loved it and wore it alot and finally it was worn out.

Still in summer mood and still in that hawaiian theme dinner mood, I just had to post this! Hopefully one day I get to visit the lovely island of Hawaii and enjoy all that it has to offer! Fingers crossed.

Prints Two

I just came back from a short afternoon browse through Westfield Carousel. I happened to see alot of butterflies on the shopping crowd today. Tattoos, tee-shirt print, shirt designs. And I remembered my favourite butterfly T-shirt from Ripcurl! So it is from the kids collection but who cares with prints this cute!

Girls love butterflies, for their free-spirit and pretty flight. 'Florals for spring? How groundbreaking.' How about butterflies then, Miranda?

Prints One

A new blog segment added! I am always buying stuff because of one detail I really liked on that piece. It may be the t-shirt print or the cut or a a certain design. So I thought I would blog about it and it will help me to stop buying unnecessary things by just taking a photo of it in the shops. Do you have such a problem too? I am a mayyjah hoarder (oops...).

It has been a pretty tough few months, and even tougher few days. Making a difficult decision and then, not having things go according to plan. Why does the heart be ever so complicated?

I really like the simple print above, like how I love all things black and white. I did not buy this top because I know I was not a fan of the cut and to pay quite a few pretty pennies for the print...Hmmmm. Not a smart shopping investment eh? So I made the right choice.

But is it ever easy to make the right choice? Is it ever easy to identify which is the right choice? Since when do you not doubt yourself? Since when there are no doubts? Are things ever juts black and white? Or do you see the grey areas in between too?

I find it pretty accurate the word Love was in between the 2 hands forming the heart shape. Because love does take two hands to clap. Give and take. Finding the right balance. Oh heart, tell me what you desire...
