And there you go, a full length of how a teaching outfit is for me. Semi corporate and still casual. I think maybe its all in the heels...

This blog is my collection, my photo diary of sorts. Just a Singaporean independently living in Perth, Western Australia who loves to eat and travel. I know I am a shopaholic and probably need therapy for it.
This is me Monday last week, still a little unwell. It is my Black/Gold big horse combination. Ultimate favourite one of the lot. The parents bought me this on a family trip which I didn't go on because I was stuck here. I paired it with my Volcom jeans I got years back from a surf shop up in Blue Mountains, Sydney. I remember it well. So comfortable with a slight stretch. I had to alter length and waist and the leg hems. What to do when you really want something and it didn't really fit too well in the dressing room? My gold/black belt goes nicely here and it was only AUD3 from Supre last December. Who cares about footwear now that you are this comfortable? Wear a pair of havaianas to go with the heck-care theme. Black-gold ones.
A normal green polo with a pink small horse with a black pair of skinny jeans and green havaianas. I really liked this green one because the colour is bright enough to chase away any grey clouds and dreary moods.
A pink/blue small horse polo tee which has been retired because I wore it out already. With a high waisted skirt with gold embellished which I got from Bangkok (I think because I can't remember). Throw on a sporty-nerd white cardigan from Mango, a blue pashmina as a scarf. White/gold sunnies from Valleygirl and a pink furry Guess bag for a rock star look.

Did I mention why I am talking about Ralph Lauren? It's because Harbourtown Perth finally have an outlet for them. I spent quite abit on Friday there. And I can't wait to go back again. So you will hear about them again for sure!

And of course, the skirt goes well with a normal black tanktop too. This Temt top is previously featured in Mayy's Closet #10. A more recent photo just early last year. I got the black and silver butterfly bag in this photo at Melbourne's Queen Victoria Market for only AUD5. Super big and stored a whole lot for a day of classes in uni.
There you go, a bohemian Autumn. What are your favourite fall colours?

It doesn't look too harem pants here. Anyway, it is really conmfortable and I think I have had it in my wardrobe for the past what, five years maybe? I don't regret this buy ever. Mum is not a big fan of it but I love its comfort. I am pretty sure I bought it in a random shop in Heartland Mall, Kovan. Usually wear it with a tight tee (below) or a racer back like here. The kind of green I like in a comfortable Mango racerback.
With a big big Lindor ball at David Jones in the city. Yummy. But I didn't buy it. Since the baby blue Roxy tee is blocked here, we will blog about it some other time.
Nearly always worn with flats because well, I am so not in the mood for heels if I am wearing something this comfortable eh? But I reckon high heeled booties would work here. Usually a more boyish, rugged, sporty look.Photos credits: mayydiaries.blogspot.com
There, told you it was baggy. I was going for comfort that day and also the last outfit I wore with my old hairstyle. So not ready for a photo op with my hairdresser but hey, we managed to pull it off. I would never give this pants up so for now, I have lugged it from Singapore to Perth and back to Singapore where it stays for now.
So what do you think? Too boyish for your liking? Nothing special about it? Not your thing? Not that I care because I love it.

I think that MIGHT have been okay if I was in Taiwan or Japan. But I was in Perth, wearing that colourful outfit: Skulls beanie from Zhu Hai, mauve coloured fur trim jacket from Mango, hearts printed top from Best and Less kids section, black skirt which I had for a really long time, pink leggings from Cotton On and the most comfortable white flats from Bangkok (which I am very sad that it could not last me forever).
