Completely Random

Does anyone recall the cutest little bunny ever created? Thumper in the Bambi movie? Walt Disney drew him well and it is one cartoon character that is severely underappreciated. Everyone knows it cute and loves its mischievious friendly personality. Yet, hardly anyone remembers it enough to say hey, thats one of my favourite characters.

Well, I like the little tyke so much I took the photo below... A cute kids jumper of Thumper. Wished I had a kid so I have the reason to buy that!

And as if the cartoon one isn't cute enough, I recently came across a pet bunny which bears an uncanny resemblance to Thumper...

SQUEALS IN DELIGHT. This little furry ball of fur caused quite a stir on my facebook page when I put this photo up. Nawwwwwwwwwww...

And I wish you all sweet dreams under a warm blanket. Doesn't it look warm and happy? Sighs. So cute...

A Disney Princess

I'll always be the first to admit that I am still a big kid at heart when it comes to Disney and cartoons. I can veg out all day watching Disney Channel programs. But there is one part of Disney which will always remain NUMBER ONE in my heart.

Yes, that's right. Disney Princesses. We have quite a few more these days. But before the new ones, there were six. Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine, Ariel, Rose and what'shername (oh alright, Snow White). Fine, I have named them in the order in which I adore them. So here's the first post to the many DP future posts.

At Centrepoint Mall in Singapore when they had their annual Christmas theme. That year, it was Disney Princesses and if you spent over $200 in the mall, you get to redeem a Disney Princess umbrella. I MANAGED TO HOARD TWO! One for keeps, and one for me to use. And yes, I just had to bring it over to Perth with me. Perfect for keeps in my car.

Disney Princesses get updates or new ballgowns to their collection every once in a while. I really liked this collection. All the gold ones!

I love Cinderella, she's gorgeous and I love the whole story. Glass slippers.

And of course, Princess Jasmine. Although I really liked her usual green outfit! I mean it is my favourite colour after all. And I like her pet tiger. So cute! I want a pet tiger too...Hmmmmm.

And don't we all wish for happy endings? Never mind how many times life tells us otherwise, I think if you always believe in it, it may eventually just happen.

Mayy's Closet #20

Still 'inspired' from the weather and a day of doing absolutely nothing academically inclined, here's a closet post on an outfit I wore a couple of years back when it was rainy and cold. It was one of those spontaneous weekend day out with Anna, this one to Freo for fish and chips & Baskin Robbins.

Yes, I brought that umbrella out with me. I love it and it's practical. Oh, and it's pretty. Now for the clothes. It's my favourite Zara sweater top. I have it in four or five different colours. And I am NOT stopping. This green one is my first of such tops so it holds more meaning to me. It goes well with EVERYTHING and especially the Puma bag I am toting in this photo. The Puma bag was a birthday gift from the 0906 boys back in teejay days. I like its functionality and shape. It holds alot more than it looks. I paired it with leggings and denim shorts. And this is no normal leggings, they are really thick ones from Best & Less kids section. I read somewhere in a magazine on how denim shorts should be left for summer. I think Katie Holmes was wearing this combi. Well, I think it is all about layering it up and how you pull it off. I am not saying I pulled it off here but hey, it sure makes use of the summer wardrobe. My Jay Jays ankle boots is also sort of my rain boots so it comes as part of the deal back then when it rains. I accessorized with a big red faux crystal heart necklace I got from one of my Bangkok trips.

Anyhow, that was comfortable for a day out and is not difficult to pull together. What do you think, denim shorts with leggings yay or nay?

Till my next closet raid, Mayy xo

Completely Random

I am obviously in a very random zzzzzzz mood right now. Brain is quite fried and I am feeling like I need to relax somehow. Food will be a comfort right now but I am glad I don't have any snacks at home at the moment. I mean there are if I want to, but nothing too convenient. Yes, I am such a bum.

Cute tiny disney biscuit sticks with dips. They are about the height of my fingers or shorter. I love teeny cute stuff.

Another teeny thing: Arnott's Tiny Teddies is one of my all time favourite snack. I get the little packs here in honey flavour! I can't stop. This one comes in little bear shaped packs with chocolate dips. I got it back in Singapore quite a long time back. They actually come in all kinds of bear facial expressions! This is my favourite, the sleepy one with his sleepcap on.

And this one is Yam Yam I got from Bangkok. Not the biscuit sticks but rainbow coloured balls. Comes with the cutest little spoon and you just get a spoonful of it and dip into the chocolate. Yums. No wonder I was a pudgy little kid when Mummy buys all these kind of snacks and stocks a whole big cupboard or drawer full of them!
