Looking for perfection,
that storybook confection
It stays elusive
but is anyone willing to die looking for it?

Would you rather have
a lifetime of comfortable
or a flash of fairytale passion?

Seeking for forever
the human quest so few conquered
The endings lasting
The tales inspiring

Before,
They say it was like black & white.
After,
there was life in their lives.

So there remains believers
and those who fell wayward
To those who stuck till the end,
it was their own storybook confection,
a tale to tell and enchant.
